certain brokers (certainly not commsec) allow orders to be broken up into minescule size trades, for the one initial brokerage, cant possibly be fair if EVERYONE cant do the same (i certainly wouldn't want to do it). Commsec are probably the broker that the great unwashed like me use, and we cop all the auction premarket and closing rorting, fake bids, loaded market depths, half pip trades etc If that's fair and legal, i am monkeypox's uncle. I've lost count the number of times i've had buy/sell orders for 10's of thousands of shares, and get a part fill in the closing auction of a few cents worth, and paying brokerage for "the privilage" and then having to "chase" getting the rest, sometimes having to up the buy order or lower the sell order, depending on the manipulators tactics at that time. I hope one day some hot shot lawyer loses a few million on the market due to fraud, and he or she takes them on in court.
