So they have mined an extra 2600 Oz this qtr. The mined grade is also up 10% which I assume is their talk of improved stope/grade control. If applied across all sites that sort of indicates massive cost reduction per ounce ahead. That will also go somewhere towards them filling their 500kt latent milling capacity as well. Growing stockpiles of higher grade ore. A second portal says a lot for longer term planning and less travel distance to the surface.
Currently milling appears to be targeting an optimised plant grade at 2.5g/ton,so maybe not an immediate increase in milled ounces but rather secure stockpiling of ore not trucking or weather dependent that has been dropping overall tons at times last year.
Qtrly is going to be interesting for the sniff of more to come I guess. A 10yr cost horizon makes even the smallest improvement significant in dollars.
