Agree Bull, though I note other small/mid tier producers are starting to provide them more regularly which is a win for all stakeholders. The hits included in this announcement just keep showing what a workhorse Bluebird U/G is. The irony is, that whilst the grades are not spectacular, the true widths of the hits means... little dilution, which, when you compare it to say, BGL, means that Bluebird is going to generate low cost ounces too.
5 Rigs on the go show how important this asset is, and... that they view it's potential growth (hence the planning for (and... surely at this stage, almost guaranteed development at South Junction) a 3rd decline) to enable them to ramp up production by 50% to 750k p.a. At 4.5g/t, that is over 108,000 ounces p.a. Bigger than Big Bell currently!
I think I am more excited about the extra surface rig, because it means they are hunting for new production centers, not just infill/extensional drilling (even though it's vitally important to do it). If they can find something similar to Bluebird or Paddy, then.... the plant can start to be fully utilized, as not running at full throughput due to the ore mix is a frustrating situation (with efficiencies of scale being so important).
