Saw this article which mentions Bluechiip and it got me thinking.... Could the tiny mems chip be imbedded into a luxury product eg. a watch, as a way to certify that it is indeed a real product and not a counterfeit/fake. Essentially the watch could be scanned at the retailer to identify whether it is real. I am pretty sure the mems chip has billions of combinations of unique IDs', and I think it is tamperproof too.
