I topped up today. BSL has forecast EBIT for 1H22 at 2.1B to 2.3B. In pcp 1H21 they achieved 0.53B. The current HRC pricing in Australia and USA is high, as are all other value added coated and painted segments. The big question is, how long can it last. I am long because IMHO, pricing will remain historically high during 2H22, even if it tapers 10-15% from 1H22. Chinese exports are curtailed, whilst construction, infrastructure are strong in Australia & USA, and stimulus remains. Best of times for BSL.
