I attended the AGM this morning. The initial discussion on the short term were subdued however they are doing some cost cutting to improve the immediate revenue fall. The Chairman & Board seem confident about the mid term future of the company and very excited about the potential of the US businesses. They indicated the Trump return is likely to have positive impacts especially for the US businesses. I still worry that the level of money we are spending on capital expansion & buybacks is not improving the Market Capital of the total business. I wonder what a take over offer would look like for the US businesses. I guess a lot more than the current $A9 billion market cap for the full BSL business.
