A good point. I hadn't really thought too much about it, but it seems logical. Except, foreign investors would be worse off because they don't get franking credits. That's my understanding anyway. However, I guess as Cutty pointed out the average punter doesn't see it that way, so it's a perception thing maybe that makes franking credits a positive for the share price. Is loss aversion the correct term to explain this perhaps?
