As detailed by Aftermarket a few days ago, the BLG's IP is aged and must have been mandatory published, so the Chinese do not need any interaction with the owner to read the vast majority of the IP portfolio.
There is always a know-how, though. Unprotected. For this reason a Chinese LED manufacturer could be somewhat less of an exiting partner. Would Veeco still get in for a threesome? I doubt it. Very much.
