@Treed, after a few days more of research, I believe you have found the "pioneer" customer in applied energetics. They are listed on the nasdaq with a $400m market cap and their announcement are public information for anyone that is interested in their applications. Yet another big tick for the quality of BLG technology.

I don't think the market realizes how much of a milestone this GaN DFB laser announcement truly is, how significant this first customer is, and what it this announcement means with regards to future revenues from defense and quantum applications.
Bluglass is one of the first companies in the world to develop viable Gan DFB lasers with their partners at UCSB.
What might not be known is that the GaN laser and visible laser market are projected to more than double over the next 2 years reaching $2.5B annually by 2025. This is due to the quantum leap in performance Gan lasers provide compared to infrared.
BLG is one of only a few companies in this space and perhaps the leaders and go to company for the US defense department. That will result in further selection from their allies in coming months as well as vindication to the commercial world.

Photonic West is only 2 weeks away and IMHO, they will have some exciting news for that event to announce. Jim and James are truly building a magnificent team and although it appears at times like there is a pause in progression, there is always a lot happening behind the scenes.

With Jim, and the employees he can attract, now 12 -18 months into the job, I am certain that BLG will be a key player in the GaN laser market in coming years.
