Yes, it can be frustrating. I've missed out on SPPs on two occasions in the past, due to such glitches (neither were with BLG). One time it took about 2 months for the money to be located and refunded. At least you have time now to sort it out if your transfers didn't go through.
BTW, with my BPay transactions I got confirmation from BLG the next day, and actually already had the first confirmation when I made the second payment, so you shouldn't have to wait more than a few days. Best of luck.
