James Walker says, 2 min into the shareholder briefing, that laser diodes are a $25B market of which GaN lasers make up $2.5B. These figures are consistent with previous information from BLG, such as this graphic from the investor presentation in June last year:
So this is the addressable market. At 18 min Jim says that they have production capacity at Silverwater and Freemont to capture approx. $170M worth of the addressable GaN laser market. This figure also sounds familiar, but I can't find a previous quote of it ATM. I believe, like the other figures, this is US$, and thus amounts to 6.8% of the projected 2025 addressable market.
