A lot of ground to make up, but it certainly looks like a reversal has taken place. There has been a global wide attack on the gas industry in recent years, both from an environmental and green agenda stance and also from a political stance to combat energy prices inflation. It is pretty safe to say that looking at gas prices and the way geopolitical events are unfolding, gas sentiment cannot get any lower than they are now. A pretty good time to be entering a gas company, even in Australia where a lot of political shifts towards the right wing are starting to unfold. The green/labor alliance and hypocrisy in relation to the green energy agenda is starting to break apart and the people are waking up, especially with these cost of living issues and higher energy costs. They promised lower gas and electric prices and the opposite has unfolded. This has provided the basis for the sheep to wake up to the lies once and for all. Interesting times ahead and hopefully COE can capitalise on a better gas environment in the medium to long term. Definitely glad I did not sell up in fear at rock bottom, and glad I have held strong. I am sure i will be back in the green in the next 6-12 months.
