I was just about to post that the FID had been pushed out 12 months before reading this well thought out post that was onto this development.
The one thing that 100% ownership does is that it opens the door for a clean takeover. However, if an acquirer has to pay a significant premium to acquire 25%, that means it will pay less for the remaining 75%.
If I could bet on no FID in 2024, I would be comfortable doing so in a material way.
