    equally, if you could point me in the direction of a more accurate and authoritative study showing that nuclear power reactors are feasible in Australia that would be appreciated. as you already know my sources. If you could also please point to examples of nuclear being implemented on time and on budget in less then 10 years, that will also be useful. I wouldn't point to China either, they are not exactly comparable with Australia.

    South Australia ran on 82% renewables in December, their grid seems pretty stable to me. If you are proposing that we continue to do nothing (burn fossil fuels) while we wait for a nuclear reactor to be built, that is fine, except as with any large-scale projects expect delays and capital blowouts, leading to probably a less stable grid in the meantime.

    I agree with you, nuclear would be nice, but the time to start that was 10-15 years ago, and in the 10 years of green and blue governments, they did nothing so I don't see it as a solution anymore.

    I agree with you also, all jurisdictions in Australia need to adjust their policies to allow uranium mining and hence reap the royalty benefit, as yyou say, never too late to change backward thinking..
