Yes and no. South Australian Government was and is very supportive and Olympic Dam required minimal changes to allow BHP to make a lot more than it currently does.
The anti nuclear including or some who claim to be green who opposed C02 free nuclear power have changed world wide now. Japanese public opinion is one of the best examples.
There is little to no impediment to BHP making more money. May be topical and my mistake by the way. Mr Per Jander Wmc comment he cannot find 1,000,000 lbs to buy on the spot market or via his other sources which is likley to include BHP.
That is in Bloor Street Capital Nuclear and Uranium Conference at about 1:30min. He did say the same in Oct/November last year. As one of the priciple buyers for Sprott I suspect he knows a lot better than any of us.
