I don’t disagree that the US market is different. That being said I believe many Australian businesses are grappling with how they shift their strategy and investor expectations on the benefits of investing profits for future growth, rather than paying dividends.
I believe there will be a shift over the coming years and first mover advantage is key, specifically in industries where you can grow influence, market share and build vertically integrated supply networks.
I think PLS can be a disrupter, but my investment strategy is focused on businesses with vision and can lead the shift to prioritising growth over short term dividends.
