I have a theory about the pre-auction bid....I suspect that the pre-auction bid has gone to an existing offtake partner. I.e. we are looking after our existing customers first, and giving them the opportunity to get first pass at the extra tonnage via a pre-auction bid.
IMHO you would rather keep your existing customers happy with extra tonnage than chase an extra $100-200 per tonne going to an auction with unknown/new customers.
