I've been following along what Oxis does for a couple of years now. The biggest point of difference at the moment, which yesterdays announcement pointed to is lifecycle durability. Reading directly from the Oxis website, you can deduce that the lifecycle of their batteries is around 250 cycles as they are working on developing their batteries so "Within the next two years we aim to double the current cycle life to achieve upwards of 500 cycles". The Li-S Energy battery announcement dictates this already a reality for them and the battery is still working and they are continuing testing to see how far it goes. So right there, the battery is superior. Also, reading from PPK provided material from earlier announcements, density is hinted at being higher than the Oxis Energy technology also.
