I would also argue that their technology (wire rather than powder) will be quicker to be widely adopted as well. Powder is very interesting and arguably more innovative, which also means buyers need to change how they think more and require more convincing through prototypes and waiting for others to adopt and test. Whereas wire is just building with a welder (layman view there) which is surely more widely understood and accepted. Plus big bulk parts are simpler to understand tham small complex ones...
