Yeah. I was a shareholder in FAR up until Shell pulled out in 2009 (cost me a bundle) and wasn't across Cath Norman's history at all so my posts above are actually somewhat WRONG
Nonetheless, it appears the board has gone for a risk taker. She pulled off Senegal (that Shell had years earlier walked away from) but kept going back to the table in the Gambia instead of returning the money straight back to shareholders. I'm not completely across it but at first glance it appears she left before the capital return was implemented.
Its exploration. Its risk taking by nature but you need to know when to cash out
