Yes similar, but earnings are net amounts (bottom line amounts) after all sorts of accounting tinkering, taxes and when dividends are removed. The gross profit from mine production is basically revenue from metal sales less costs related only to producing the sold metal. Gross profit speaks more about the operation of the mines than the accounting that is used to derive the profit/earnings figures IMO. Here are the corresponding (preliminary) raw gross profit charts for FY's 2015 and 2016 and the YoY % change in gross profit. Hope that helps. Once again please do your own research. Esh
