I you look on the website it tells you they sell network security products, they are based on a technology that Cisco and Intel own called VPP which they made open source 10 years ago, virtual Packet Processing, which allows you to scale between nodes, which could be buildings in an almost linear fashion only restricted by the size of the Hardware needed. Then they connect people using traditional VPN, as you cant get VPP to work on phones, laptops etc. Cisco use the same technology in some of their products. The development work was done in China, which I think is one of the inhibitors to large scale take up outside China, not sure but suspect that is an issue. Netgate in the US also sell this type of product if you want to look them up and have sold it to the US government.

It will be interesting to see if the US ban on employees and companies using Chinese based tech and chips has any affect, although the announcement that Net is focused on Pakistan and parts of Arabia may be an admission that they will not be main stream in western economies and have to focus on ones with Chinese influence.
