People are jumping on because the potential for a quick profit from the potential sale of assets in the near term is now much more likely. However, if all we get is a bunch of low ball offers, or if this stretches out for any period of time - the moment these new speculators that have joined the register start to feel like the company is not getting decent offers, that easy money which has quickly pumped the share price will leave as quickly as it arrived.

I hope all the existing speculators 'investors' who are solely focused on the short term movement of the share price as a measure of success understand this. The ones that have expressed hope for some sort of 'strategy' to emerge that will magically make STO pull their finger out has unfortunately suggested otherwise.
