You have to fight competing stories, the egos of other scientists (very potent this one) and the general inertia of business and research .

The 4DS story isnt well known. ReRam is not the most frequently cited among NVM solutions.
And some even said that the non-filamentary solution doesnt give a real advantage to 4DS.

Thats why I would have liked a scrip solution that would have allowed us to stay in the game for the next ten years to see this story unfold.
