Zero financial services experience. Zero. Not sure what a deep background in running recreational facilities is going to add. They needed a tough compliance and governance person with experience in $1b+ market cap fin services organisations to help them get there. This does not look like that.
I can see why the new director said "“It’s a privilege to be asked to join the board..." It should be the other way around. The company should be privileged to have a new high-powered director.
