You need only imagine the cache (and contacts) this bloke would bring to the table when talking to financiers about a full field development. New Hope barely put a foot wrong under his guidance (and through the GFC!)and despite lower coal prices atm NHC is a multi billion dollar enterprise with a very strong (lazy?) balance sheet. You just can't buy that sort of credibility you have to earn it.

Combine this with the credentials of the new CEO and it is a completely different entity.

All bodes well for some very interesting times ahead...
