Yep. Sport these days is all about player engagement. The more stats/info given to viewers the more they will watch.
Especially as sports broadcasting heads to live stream, it wont be long before NFL/Soccer etc when live streaming you will have live player updates on distance, stamina, injuries etc. Take a look at fifa and the data you can access on it. this will be done for real sports soon. hopefully Catapult are the ones providing that data.
