Remember Glencore sale to MAC last year for CSA Copper/gold mine for A$1.65 billion with the production of 40-45tpa copper concentrate, Sandfire spent $2.5+ Billion on acquiring Spains MATSA copper, zinc and lead mine in Sept 2021 with 2023 copper output expected to be in the order of 60-65tpa. CMOC is currently looking to sell it's old NorthParkes asset which is slightly smaller than CSA mine and pricing would be in a comparable range as CSA.
CYM expecting to be 25tpa from Nifty with 1/8th of the reserves(oxide) utilized in the restart study with potential 20+ yrs production beyond the oxide. Potentially the Nifty output could be the same as CSA mine with sufficient capital injection and therefore the valuation would be proportionate.

No doubt Nifty is a sound project. However, saving the project and saving the current ownership of the project are very different matters.
