Ron said when stepping down as CEO that it was largely in part to health and energy reasons and wanting to use the energy he has as wisely as he can while enjoying his life. It seems clear that EMV is in good hands and Ron’s part in taking the company this far and leading it in its infancy can’t be underestimated. However, after the partnership with Keysight, and Scott proving himself to be an excellent choice, maybe Ron felt it was the right time and to use his energy wisely in another area.
