There was no need for Ron to leave, they could have accommodated an extra director, so I think the relationship broke down. Given he has 2.5 million shares and options you'd think he'd make time to stay on the Board otherwise.
And I would have preferred someone with a radiology/imaging company background. The emu isn't an implantable medical device, it's a new imaging technology. So this guy must have something that Scott wants, but it's not immediately clear what that is.
