Not sure what the so called The Company, those that gave them support and other shareholders expected to happen to the sp once the actions taken by share holders in demanding changes to the BOD was put into place by the BOD.
Anyone could have anticipated that the share price was going to fall.
It's not just one change that was demanded by a complete or very near complete change at the top that was demanded and The Company got nearly all they demanded.
So you had MT handing in his resignation less than 9 months into the job. The explanation given as personal reasons.
The first reports around the The Company requesting change gave the impression that MT had been contacted and he would consider withdrawing his resignation.

The question here is what information was held by The Company of shareholders who had for years supported the BOD and wouldn't have a word said against them.
Why did Roger after himself and Professor Morris being the main two people in getting PPL/MPL into PAA give up without a fight.
