I guess Rob has served his purpose (getting the REE extraction/metallurgy down pat).
Was appointed at the height of the REE boom.
No point having Rob stay on, as the REEs are only a background play until prices recover.
They can always use Rob (or someone else) on a consulting type arrangement/as and when needed.
