Seems fairly obvious what ahppened here - my guess, someone took a run at stealing the CEO job from under CE, and got a clear message from management and big holders... resignation on the table on your way out door???

Why stop there? Prior to that Beadell Resources, successfully took the top job out from under Simon Jackson, and then still drove the company off the cliff and into administration???
CE clearly has the support of big holders and his management, and that is good enough for me. Just hope he can appoint 2 new board members he can rely on, and with genuine experience at executing on projects in foreign juristictions. Not just +20 years as an analyst based on zero "real world" experience in the field
