Ann: Board changes, page-3

Well, one thing for sure... the drama in BEZ is nothing short of some Hollywood suspense movies. Who knew Dato still this much of power with the selling (short selling?) of the shares that has been going on for the last so many months. The games that have been going on, however, tells the value of this resource and the potential benefits that this will produce to the ones that are going to own it. Will the new board work independently with full integrity devoid of conflict of interest? who knows? I honestly do not have a lot of faith on ASX or ASIC or any Aussie government body's capacity to ensure transparency in company activities. One of the questions that we will never be answered is that who sold all the shares (possibly near 100 millions/ more or less) in the last few months period and that we never got served "Change in Substantial holding" announcement.
The light at the end of the tunnel is Dato may have significant influence/connections in Malaysian authorities which may lead into the mining permit granted quicker. He may revive the agreement between BEZ and Quantum and start making instalments (if he is still solvent?), who knows?
I am personally feeling speechless with the outcome of the special meeting. I will however remain cautiously positive about the future direction of the company.
Does the new board have the intentional and power to look after the mere mortal like us or they will work as a puppet to Dato?
