Might be more a case of Brown was/is the bully boy in the group, whilst the others are all whimpy sycophants who know if they follow Brown, they'll be issued squillions of shares wherever he goes, so they don't stand up to him.
None of us have any proof, but BL was more than likely forced into either complying with Brown, or resign.
