How far the listing will help is unknown but it will help lift the profile and encourage more investment from US based people. It certainly I feel would rerate SEA certainly in the short term. US companies value shale plays much more highly than aussie people.

In terms of Samson, I have discussed this many times in the past and been shot down. The 2 companies are fathoms apart yet their MC has never been much different and the differential is getting bigger and bigger each month. SEA is miles in advance of SSN, but thats not to say that SSN won;t get there but I think their acreage is average at best so hopefully they can prove it up and get some value for the bucks they spent on the newer acreage. They have been overvalued IMO and are probably more realistically priced now than previous.
