One interesting thing if our Board were wanting to demerge NMP is that they would have had a legitimate reason to change our company name and to do a consolidaiton (Union Resources without NMP) would have been too hard to buy and sell without a consolidation? I may have been premature in slagging our Board off on that?

Sorry I didn't read the new MAK MD's CV. I just assumed he must be good if his salary was even more than Dr Reid's. Also the fact Drummond isn't likely to lavish money on staff salaries when he is making such a mean offer for UCL was a factor.

I don't think Drummond has done us any favours if because of the cost of the takeover defence we have to give away un derisked Mehdiabad value earlier than we otherwise would have. The more time there is for the big events to play out in the Middle East, the better is my view.
