With the Cannon-Brooks/Brookfield offer apparently dead, has the whole episode changed your position on AGL stock?
I've decided to keep holding and to treat the offer as a non-event as far as its impact on my investment strategy. But, I'm keen to hear what anyone else thinks.
@googs61 and @AquariusOne - I'd love to see it hit $12 and I think it's possible. I do believe the split will create value.
From a human standpoint, of course, I wish Cannon-Brooks and Brookfield had succeeded. I'd love to see AGL's dirty assets replaced with clean ones ASAP. I'd be willing to sell at the current price to ensure that happens, if that was a possibility. Also, it's not.
The Board is probably right that the would-be acquirers need to up their offer if they hope to succeed.
