I wouldn't even be surprised if he roughly planned his exit when PDL conceded to Perpetual.
Don't think the fund managers don't talk.
How could he manage it? Think of Chess players who think seven (to nine for the best) moves ahead.
They have the answer ready when the opportunity arrives.
