Yes the text says it all, hosted in diorite intrusive a,. If we had some overlying stratigraphy, made of volcanics and sedimentary rocks, then the veins would have a suitable host rock to disseminate through. The way I see it is the veins are it. The big deposits like mentioned in the text, are in other rock types, higher up in the stratigraphy, above the intrusives. Ours were probably eroded away. But let's not get too concerned, it's all IMO, so don't get too hung up on what I say!
