Right now I can see mid-tier players that could be interested and perhaps Anglo (from the giants) who has bit higher risk appetite.
If ALK finds shallow ~3Moz deposit at around 0.8g/t AuEq then everything changes. Then suitors will be knocking on the door.
LOM becomes even longer and the payback period is even shorter.
NPV and IRR will look real sxy too and the project is de-risked from movements in Cu and Au prices during the initial stages of the project.
Considering how fertile the ground is, there is good chance for ALK to find more - the questions are what grade and WHEN?
