we should really be topping 80c but I doubt it will happen. I'll be happy with anything above 70c for the day. This is decent upgrade and the grade, even though still not as high as many want, is not really good. AISC falls fair bit with this grade and payoff for the plant is lot faster.
It also helps with JV negotiations.
Right now I see ALK getting about $150m cash and to retain about 30% of the project carry free. If they discover more and with higher grades then numbers change. This is based on what I saw EVN paid for 80% of Northparks that comes with a plant and 30 year LOM. but I could be wrong. however, I know I am not wrong ALK can extract better terms if they discover more - so more exploration in the area is critical.
why ALK may get more for NMPP than what EVN paid for Northparks is that NMPP contains lot more gold so the mix is better.
