Hi Objforever - just got back from being away - to an announcement and quite a few posts.

Beiersdorf for me still fits the bill apart from the fact that in today's announcement it noted that 'The collaboration agreement will also lead to OBJ introducing its micro-array technology for possible integration within the partner’s existing product range.' Nivea, one of Beiersdorf's stable, that is one of the largest skin care brands in the world and sold in about 200 countries imo doesn't fit the profile as P&G have Exclusivity for OBJ's MicroArray in the skin care sector.

A few others are possibly still in play here:

Although a fair bit of grunt work has already been done on BodyGuard, it may be prudent to remember that this is a Collaboration Agreement. If we cast our memories back to 2007, OBJ & GSK undertook the beginnings of a 'Collaboration Agreement' 'for a range of non-prescription healthcare applications'; and on the 07th of May 2017 we will see the 10-year anniversary for this 'Collaboration' where anything is yet to be monetised. I wonder what the timelines would have been if it was for Prescription/Pharmaceutical applications? Although GSK still seem to be in the mix here with OBJ, despite the stealth silence from both parties and that P&G now seem to be persuing Oral healthcare with OBJ's Technology Platforms as witnessed via recent Trademarks and Patent approvals, it pays to bear in mind that even for Non-Pharmaceutical applications........it takes alot longer than any of us ever envisioned....including OBJ Management:

    Remember Tooth Whitening in 2007:

'The company is actively engaged with the international oral health industry and is exploring several potential partnering opportunities':

For me, this announcement is reminiscent of the 3M Material Transfer Agreement Announcement back on 4th November 2009; afterall, whoever it is, is in exactly the same line of business as 3M - only smaller:

Whilst a sound announcement and proof that BodyGuard is not dead in the water, timelines to monetisation are still fuzzy at best. P&G have also been collaborating, testing, PDAing & MLAing for almost 10 years now, with maiden revenues only just hitting OBJ's accounts as I type this post.

I remain upbeat for OBJ's compounding pipeline to reach critical mass before the end of this year which should somehow be reflected in OBJ's share-price. The Market (including Investment & Super Fund Mandates) wants proof of reported income. Quarterly due in a month and it would be nice to receive an update on the second OBJ Technology Platform that P&G have already committed to; prior to the Quarterly.

One reassuring aspect of today's announcement is that it may indeed be the first of a few announcements regarding BodyGuard as attested by commentary in the recent 4D:
