The Challenger open pit mine struggled to hit grades at depth and was mined down to only 135 metres.
A large footprint with shallow high grades are very cost effective and highly profitable.
It seems likely they will hit grades deeper though in the Starlight Lode.
Both lodes are still open, so lots more drilling ahead.
