I totally agree. The price of gold is not relevant here because of two major reasons.
1. The gold price is a financial instrument like currency which financial institutions and speculators will buy and sell it's not backed by physical gold.
2. Gold companies sell physical gold therefore the price will vary according to the quality and grade and the negotiations surrounding the supply...and also how the company is run and managed on a day to day basis, just like any business it has to be profitable.
Look at the leading gold producers and see how their share price soared whilst gold was sitting at 1200 USD.
I can assure everybody of one thing that i am more than certain of - The major shareholders have not invested their millions into this company because of the price of gold. They have invested because of the solid prospects MGV has to make consistent profits in the future.
