Every gold stock I own was smashed today, particularly MGV. It is basically in the same position it was in prior to its most recent announcement, which one would have to say is illogical based on what it announced. I have held GSN for a month or so now, and was hoping this announcement would provide some more breathing room to my buy-in price but feel that it may be a slow ascent. MGV has a habit of taking off the day of announcement, being pegged back in the next couple of days, and then gradual, then sharp rises following. This shows insto buying, as they generally proceed news with a tree shake and then accumulate. Bank of Nova Scotia is a major shareholder.

I hold a little MGV too, and optimistically thought 80c would at least be touched for a bit of yesterday. And that GSN might touch 20c. Ah well. I agree with your assessment of GSN's relative potential to MGV, though QLD is the wild card that might take this one anywhere?
