Even if they were mining by next week, I doubt the sp would move much at all as sentiment in the silver stocks is at rock bottom right now which is clear from the recent mining approval and the massive resource upgrade announcements, the sp hardly reacted. Sentiment is determined by the underlying price of the metal, which right now is heavily suppressed.

5 years?? I disagree it could happen a lot faster than you say, look back to 2020 where the POS went from $18 to just under $30 in a couple of MONTHS. When it moves it moves violently.

Sure silver is needed in industrial applications, but for most products the cost of the silver as a percentage of the whole product is very small, so even if silver doubled or tripled in price, it would not make a significant difference in the total cost and besides, any increases would be passed on to the consumer.
