@eastwest101 My experience.. Normally when companies report from around 2% and bit higher Cu from XRF the LAB will end up reporting around 0.4 - 0.7% Cu. Hence when I read (when a company reports such) XRF readings I don't get too excited over anything below 2%. While from ~2.5% and above there is very high chance there will be decent Cu grade there. Though on very few occasions the XRF almost nailed it.. within 30% which I still consider bull's eye. I think it also matters what kind of XRF Geos use and how they use them.
And when I read XRF report of around 5% Cu then we are in the 2% and above Lab assay territory for those sections of the core.
This is very general and rough estimate based on my own experiences and not to be used as guidance.
I am curious if anyone else is seeing similar..
