The consolidation of Rox and Venus has made the regional targets much more attractive.
For example, Currans and its extension Taylor's Reef has gone from 45% Rox ownership to 90% (prospector 10%). See the JV diagram below.
Mineralization here is associated with anomalous base metal concentrations, characteristic of the Penny deposits (owned by Ramelius Resources Ltd) to the south.
When the various JVs were negotiated in 2019 Venus geos considered that Currans had too much potential to allow Rox to earn more than 45% but the consolidation has overturned that.
Currans features very high grade gold and currently has a JORC resource of 22,000 oz Au that Rox will be hoping to grow very soon imo
The second factor driving regional exploration is Travis Craig the new Exploration Manager who is credited with the Younami South bonanza hit.
