all good GT55. I just got off the phone with a guy who also worked on RC Rigs so I can check his views on this subject and his position is similar to the one I have. Over 28m intercept it would be hard to have polluted material from small portion all over. He said he can see how 3-4 bags can be polluted with the first two probably being worst. So let's say all the gold came from 7-10m zone but somehow got spread over 28m sample bags. Then DD will show 7-8m zone with some out of this world grades.
It will be hard to be the other way around and all the gold from 300m (surface to EOH) to have been concentrated in the 28m samples. Theoretically possible but practically not. Plus the area is well known to contain high grades so this is not really an odd one and we should be very careful as rest of the intercepts are in the 1g/t league.
No offence and I am one who is also cautious but one has to take everything in consideration rather than just to look for the negative.
At the end you may end up being right but probability is this is genuine result and you are bit overly cautious. I am more worried if the zone does not have any strike (less than 50m) and depth (less than 100m). If we are lucky and this zone shows around 70m strike and 300-500m depth then RXL will be on a roll as it will add lot of ounces. And is the gold refractory.. another thing I am worried. I sent them an email asking about the historic holes and if they have any plans to test at depth and strike as today's Ann only says they want to test above the intercept.
